Rev. Dr. David Parker, Sr.
Rev. Dr. David Parker, Sr. serves as the Pastor of Tri-Union African Methodist Episcopal Church in St. Louis, Missouri. A passionate preacher, educator, community leader, and servant of God, Rev. Dr. Parker is committed to transforming lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ while empowering individuals, families, and communities to reach their full God-given potential.
With more than 30 years of experience in education and ministry, Rev. Dr. Parker brings a unique blend of spiritual leadership, educational expertise, and community engagement to his pastoral work. He holds advanced degrees in education, including a Doctorate in Education, and has dedicated his career to mentoring young people, developing leaders, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
Under his leadership, Tri-Union AME Church has embraced a vision of becoming a transformational ministry and community development hub for North St. Louis. Through worship, outreach, education, feeding programs, youth initiatives, and community partnerships, the church seeks to be a beacon of hope and healing in the community.
Rev. Dr. Parker is the visionary behind Tri-Union's "Building Together, One Brick at a Time" initiative, which focuses on strengthening the church's ministry footprint and expanding its capacity to serve the community's spiritual, educational, social, and economic needs.
A dynamic preacher and teacher, Rev. Dr. Parker is known for his practical, biblically grounded messages that challenge people to grow in faith, serve with compassion, and live with purpose. His ministry philosophy is rooted in the belief that the Church must not only proclaim the Gospel but also actively demonstrate God's love through service and justice.
Rev. Dr. Parker is married to First Lady Carolyn Parker, and together they are the proud parents of four children. He remains committed to building strong families, developing future leaders, and advancing the Kingdom of God through faithful ministry and community transformation.
